Sumgait, March 15 (INPS Japan) \u2013 The International Baccalaureate (IB) World School<\/a> in Sumgait, the industrial city of Azerbaijan, provides a unique educational experience to its students. Consisting of eight schools, the institution teaches pupils about various cultures, histories, and languages worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Azerbaijan prepared to celebrate Nowruz, the spring holiday of the world, the IB World School students presented an exciting cultural event, highlighting the school’s commitment to promoting multicultural understanding. The event featured a taste of different cultures worldwide, with traditional dishes and performances in unique costumes. Attendees savored various delicacies arranged on tables decorated with respective cultural motifs, amongst others.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Nowruz celebration was not only about food and music. When I stopped by a Japanese booth, I saw the students read poems in Japanese about the arrival of spring, adding a cultural touch to the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
