Kazakhstan’s “Kazinform” International News Agency LLP and IDN-InDepthNews, flagship agency of the International Press Syndicate, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide each other with their news services.
The MoU envisages close cooperation “in the organization and maintenance of information support of the visits of heads of the state, official delegations of their countries as well as other interstate activities and events held on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Germany, Japan, and (at) the United Nations.”
The MoU also aims at encouraging “the exchange of their staff, journalists, press photographers and other media experts with the purpose of studying the best practices and upgrading their qualifications.”

Mr. Katsuhiro Asagiri, President of INPS-IDN documented the 10th anniversary of the death of Yukika Sohma, the third daughter of Ozaki Yukio, considered as the father of Japanese constitutional democracy. The event was held at the Parliamentary Memorial Hall on July 28, 2018 with over 120 participants.
This event aimed at contributing to the progress of democracy and the Civil Society by introducing organizations engaged in activities while acting on Ms. Sohma’s will and deepening exchanges among participants.
Representatives of two NPOs, Association for Aid and Relief, Japan (AAR Japan) established in 1979 which currently has projects in 15 countries, and ‘Issatsu no kai’, dealing with gender empowerment including FAWA for 50 years, gave presentations on activities initiated/inspired by Ms. Sohma.
